Women’s Football – Alive and kicking at Reynella Football Club
Went out tonight to watch the Reynella Football Club Womens sides train. We had approximately 20 attend training and the atmosphere was fantastic.
The girls seem super keen and while there is some work on skills I’m pretty sure the girls will improve quickly and have an exciting year. I want to confirm that we have every intension of registering 3 sides in our first year into Womens football, being Under 14s, Under 16s and a Senior side.
The initial response for players has been terrific our next step is to get everyone registered as soon as possible and confirm our numbers, if you haven’t been able to make training please let me know as soon as possible.
Only 8 weeks until the first game so time to get out to training and get prepared for the year.
Also I would like to advise the guernsey design for our Women’s teams has been signed off and will be ordered shortly, we love our White and Black stripes but have added purple neck line and sleeves to the guernseys, Purple was one of the early colours for the Reynella guernseys so it’s inclusion adds some history to the design, we hope you like it !! #Flytime #HistorymakingWomen #RFCW
