As you may have heard on the news, the SA State Government has approved for a structured return to training for the SANFL and Community Football, with on-field training to commence under strict protocols from Monday, May 18.
Please note that all SFL clubs are still waiting to get clarification on what this means and how this affects the SFL 2020 season.
some of the strict protocols include
– NO spectators
– all players MUST have temperature checks and recorded before training
– Strictly groups of 10 including the coach per training session.
– Club change rooms CANNOT be used.
please go to the below web site to review the strict conditions.
These conditions will also have a financial burden on some clubs and the SFL will be having a meeting with all clubs to discuss what next.
The Reynella Football club will notify all coaches first on what the SFL has decided to do. We will also advise all players and the broader Reynella Football Club community on the 2020 season when we get some clarification.
Please be patient as we are doing everything we can to get some answers.
Critical to our return to play framework will be the COVIDSafe App to ensure we are able to quickly trace and manage any outbreaks in the community.
The Reynella Football Club, therefore, urges everyone associated with football, including players, coaches, umpires, officials, volunteers, and supporters, to download the COVIDSafe App – it could very well be the ticket to easing restrictions and a return to playing footy sooner.
